Getting To Know You

When people you meet say they want to know the “real you” don’t believe it.  At least not right away. It sounds great in theory, but are they truly ready for you? Be mindful that flattery can be a veil. Just keep being yourself and embrace the love of your friends and family. They are the ones who have seen your highs and lows and don’t shun you for your quirks because those things are what make you-you. None of us are perfect, however, we are all worthy of love and kindness.

Never forget that.
